Wed Magazine’s wedding fair and expo featuring products and services from the fashion industry is set to run from Saturday March 24, 2012 through Sunday March 25, 2012 in Lagos.
This 2-day expo will hold at The Haven in Ikeja GRA Lagos. Organisers say the idea is to showcase some of the finest collections from notable names in the fashion industry, including Yemi Osunkoya, Frank Oshodi, Ade Bakare, Kosiba, Mai Atafo and much more.
The event will also attract the power brokers in the industry which cuts across fashion houses, wedding planners, make up lines, jewellers, photography channels, beauticians, caterers, cake makers, bridal accessory retailers, journalists and the general public.
‘It is a platform for singles, people in serious relationships and lovers getting ready for marriage, to meet with the power brokers in the industry with the aim of getting rightly informed and inspired on new trends in the industry and how to purchase products and services at reduced prices.’
WED, which debuted in July 2011, is an all gloss high end magazine which focuses primarily on weddings and relationships. Its publisher, Akin Eso, has stated that the magazine will primarily serve as ‘a bridge that connects wedding accessory outfits and other stakeholders in the industry with singles, lovers and the married couples.’
