Out of favour Super Eagles striker, Bartholomew Ogbeche was at his best over the weekend as he helped his Dutch club, SC Cambuur get a point against host, Utrecht after netting two goals in the league match which ended 3-3.
Ogbeche who has scored 4 goals in two matches opened scoring in the 26th minute which was the only goal in the first half. The second part of the match however saw a rain of goals as both sides returned to the field more determined. The host equalized via a Williem Janssen strike but a superb Ogbeche again doubled the tally 9 minutes later.
Ogbeche’s last game for the Super Eagles was in the 3-0 win over Ireland in May 2004. 11 years after, can the 31-year-old stage a comeback to the team now coached by Sunday Oliseh?
