Nigeria’s former Minister Of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has been appointed to the board of social media platform, Twitter Incorporated.

Co-founder and CEO of Twitter, Jack Patrick Dorsey revealed in a tweet about the appointment of the former World Bank chief and Robert Zoellick as directors on their board.
In her response through her official handle@NOIweala, the former minister expressed words of appreciation to the company for the appointment. Mrs Okonjo-Iweala acknowledged that she is thrilled by the appointment while assuring twitter of maximizing its influence for the good of the global society.
