Silvio Berlusconi, the newly-resigned Prime Minister of Italy apparently has other skills outside of his many business and political interests as he has lent his songwriting skills to a new love song album set for release on the 22nd of November.
The album, which was performed by renowned Italian singer Mariano Apicella, is titled, ‘Il Vero Amore’ or ‘True Love’.
The record, which is a collection of eleven ballads, had earlier been scheduled for release in September and then October 2011 but was delayed due to ‘technical’ problems.
Mr. Berlusconi, 75, resigned after a turbulent Eurozone crisis in order to allow for an unbiased national unity government to face the country’s debt challenge. The billionaire business man, who owns vast media interests in Italy, with an estimated net worth of $6.2 billion, according to Forbes Magazine, is currently on trial for paying for sex with an underage call-girl. The ongoing trial began in April.
