
By now, we all know the relationship between Lil Wayne and Jay Z has always played both sides of a more rival-like pitch and mentor-like boundary. No matter the side they both play, it was always friendly competition though.
‘Still a mentor, no more, no less,’ Wayne once said in an interview with Shade 45. ‘I’m still looking up to everything he do, still trying to be right up there with him.’ And it’s looking as if the two will soon be right next to each other – perhaps soon.

Following his feud with Birdman, Wayne is now known to switch any lyrics that pertains to showing Cash Money Records love to throwing shots and he recently changed them again.
During his performance at Camp Flog Gnaw, Wayne changed the lyrics to his beloved track ‘I’m Me.’

‘I know that ain’t fair but I don’t care. I’m a motherfuckin’ Roc-a-Fella millionaire,’ Wayne shouted out.

There’s always been talk about Wayne signing with Jay Z, but it’s been something that has its own story and came down to Wayne rocking with CMB.
However, this isn’t the first time Wayne has spoke on the potential deal. To make things more believable, a long-term producer of Wayne stated that the shout-out to Roc Nation was not random.
