Nigeria’s extraordinary Golden Eaglet will on Thursday, November 5, face Mexico in a semifinal clash at the ongoing FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile. With the Nigerian boys thrashing Brazil on Sunday with 3 goals to nil, Mexico qualified for the last 4 last night after defeating Ecuador 2-0.

The Emmanuel Amunike led side will be hoping to qualify for a chance to grab the country’s 5th trophy at the competition. Already ranked favorites at the competition after handing embarrassing defeats to host, Chile, Brazil and other highly regarded teams, Nigeria will be hoping to replicate the feat of 1985, 1993, 2007 and 2013

In the other semifinal clash, Mali will be locking horns with Belgium.
