Nigerian music star, Davido, has become the first Nigerian to feature in a FIFA WorldCup official soundtrack after featuring in the Qatar 2022 first multi-song single ‘Hayya Hayya’ (Better tomorrow).
FIFA released the single on Friday morning featuring Davido, US singer Trinidad Cardona, and Qatari sensation, Aisha. This is coming two weeks after Davido announced he was heading to Qatar to record his album after selling out the O2 Arena in London for his ‘We Rise By Lifting Others’ concert.
Hayya Hayya is the first in a selection of soundtrack singles to be released as part of FIFA Sound for FIFA World Cup wick kicks off in November 2022
