The 47 year-old Afrobeat maestro will join other greats like U2, Snoop Dogg, Stevie Wonder, Muse and Mos Def for the 40th edition of the annual festival holding in Pilton, England.
The Glastonbury Festival is one of the biggest and best-loved music festivals in the world, known for its all-star lineups and varied arts offerings. As of April 11, according to the UK Independent, all tickets for the 2010 festival – including those left from cancelled orders – have sold out.
Mr Kuti is the only Nigerian act on the line-up.
