Singer Zara Gretti passed away on March 28, 2014, in her Ogba home, Ikeja, Lagos. The singer, her family tells us, died in the morning, minutes after going into a coma.
‘When we noticed she was unconscious, we called for an ambulance which took her to the hospital. This is where they confirmed she had died,’ a family member disclosed to NET.
Zara was taken to a private medical hospital, Isalu Hospital, which is a walking distance from her house. Upon visiting the hospital, a staff member confirmed to NET that Zara was indeed brought there.
‘Yes I remember her, she was brought in dead’, one hospital staff who asked not to be named told us.
Burial arrangements are yet to be announced.
