US singer Mariah Carey and her ex-husband Tommy Mottola can’t seem to get over each other, but we don’t mean they’re getting back together.
Music industry mogul Mottola has once again ‘cleared the air’ in his new memoir ‘Hitmaker’, categorically stating that he’s responsible for Carey’s worldwide success.
‘If it seemed like I was controlling, I apologize. Was I obsessive? Yes. But that was also part of the reason for her success,’ the 63 years old writes in his book.
Mottola, 20 years older than Mariah Carey, married her in 1993, three years after he signed her to Columbia Records. However, they got divorced four years later, with Carey calling it ‘her way of achieving freedom, and a new lease on life.’
42 year old Mariah has released 13 albums and won five Grammy Awards. She is currently married to Nick Cannon, 32, with whom she has a set of twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

Tommy, you look sooo happy with Mariah. You can clearly see your HEART is POURING out with LOOOOOVE for her. Sadly, you NEED TO MOVE ON. Everyone can CLEARLY SEE, that you’re still ITCHING for her. Frankly, I don’t blame you. Mariah has proven to do good on her own. She’s living her life, and unlike other people, she’s not a sucker-up like other people we know.
