Togo and Tottenham Hotspur striker, Emmanuel Adebayor has reportedly accused family members including his mother and sister of witchcraft although he denies chasing his mother out of his house.
In a recent interview with Ghanaian radio station, Peace FM, Adebayor’s sister, Maggie revealed that the former Manchester City striker is refusing to provide for his mother who sells ‘polythene bags, padlocks, etc and that the player is yet to see her over a year now.
The former Arsenal player also spoke with Peace FM, were he denies kicking his mother out of his home but insisted that they should leave him alone and stop practicing their witchcraft against him.
‘I never sacked my mum from the house. She decided to leave the house, ‘How am I going to be in touch with my mum if my mum is the one telling everyone that my work will not go forward, so I will just be on my side and do my thing. They should stop talking, they should stop doing juju on me, they should leave me alone,’ the football star who once played for Arsenal FC, said.
The star, speaking further, also spoke about the $1.2m home which he bought for his sister, Maggie.
‘I bought a $1.2m house in East Legon for the one talking and calling herself my sister. Can you imagine that the said sister went to rent out the house without my knowledge?’
Emmanuel Adabayor signed a permanent deal worth £5m after his initial loan move to Tottenham Hotspur from Manchester City on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 and earns £101,000-a-week.
