Nollywood actor, Emeka Ike has started a football completion called Emeka Ike Dessert cup competition.
The movie star along with his wife, Ema and other dignitaries were present at the opening match which took place at the Sandfill football pitch, Ogudu on Friday, December 7, 2012. According to Ike, his decision was borne out of the need to empower youth and keep them off the streets.
The competition is in its first year and will reward the winner with a sum N500,000 while the second and third runners-up will have N100,000 and N75,000 each.
