Emeka Ike calls for professionalism in Nollywood

The former Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN) president made this call on Saturday July 6 while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

The ‘Sweet Love’ actor while calling for unity and peaceful co-existence in the entertainment industry also urged the government to work with the Nigerian Guild of Actors to sanction illegal movie producers and practitioners in the industry to enable the development of the sector.

According to the actor, ‘Most of the Nollywood actors do their film production without involving professionals in the industry. Such attitude affects the qualities of film produced.’
