Top shot singer/record producer Lanre Dabiri better known to the public as eLDee da Don has brought up through his record label Trybe Records a talent search program called ‘Top Talent’.
‘Top Talent’ is ‘a platform for unsigned Nigerian artists of all genres that allows for them to showcase their talent and possibly get a record deal’. It requires the unsigned talents/artistes to send their songs in via E-mail (trybeproductions@gmail.com) for free, to qualify to enter for the competition.
eLDee and his team of A&Rs at the label will review the songs and then a final list of 10 songs will be selected from the entries.
This list of ten songs will then be made available on a website for online voting by the public. The artiste whose song has the highest vote will be named the ‘Top Talent’ and will get to feature on eLDee’s forthcoming ‘Is It Your Money Vol. 2’ album and possibly sign a recording deal with Trybe Records.
Entry closes on Friday April 22, 2011.
