Reports say agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested former Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Charles Chukwuma Soludo .
The Vanguard reports that he was picked up from his Abuja residence.
Reports further state that ‘Soludo’s arrest is in connection with the controversial contract he allegedly awarded for the printing of polymer currency notes to an Australian firm while he was governor of the CBN between 2006 and 2008’.
Soludo, 52, worked as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria from May 2004 to May 2009.
