Liberia’s chief medical officer, Dr Bernice Dahn has decided to restrict the movement of her staff and also place herself under quarantine after one of her aides died of Ebola disease.
Dahn who is equally the deputy health minister, opted to put herself in quarantine on Sunday, September 28, 2014 following her assistant’s death on Thursday, September 25, 2014.
According to reports, Dahn and her other assistants and staff, whom she also quarantined, will remain under observation for 21 days, the full incubation period of the virus.
Liberia has been reported as the West Africa country most affected with the deadly virus.
