Dre Day!
As tech company Apple is set to purchase Beats Electronics for $3.2 billion, Dr. Dre will easily slide into the billionaire boys club (no, not you Pharell).
The blue chip company is reportedly finalizing a deal to buy the audio products and equipment production company. The company was founded by rapper and hip-hop producer Andre ‘Dr. Dre’ Young and Interscope–Geffen–A&M Records chairman Jimmy Iovine in 2008.
If the deal goes through, it would be the biggest acquisition in Apple’s history.
Dr. Dre is already celebrating – a recent video of himself and R&B singer/rapper/actor Tyrese Gibson ‘turning up’ over the deal has landed on YouTube.

That Dre wants to sell beats for 3.2 billion dollars would not make him a billionaire. Do u think he is the sole owner of beats, do u think that America is Nigeria? Dre is highest share holder, He can’t be a billionaire Wen beats get sold.
