Ex-Chelsea –Ivory Coast player Didier Drogba has given out commemorative rings to his Chelsea teammates.
Shanghai Shenhua’s Drogba handed out the jewellery to commemorate their Champions League triumph in May on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at an event which different Chelsea players attended.
The gold rings, worth £800,000 (N201M) was specially designed with diamonds and sapphires with every player’s name, squad number along with the date they defeated Bayern Munich and the score also decorated on it.
Reports say Drogba is very proud of what the club achieved and wanted to give something to the team so they could all look back and remember that moment.
