Davido has surprised fans by dropping his EP, Son of Mercy today, October 14, a week ahead of the scheduled date of October 21, 2016.
The five-track EP comes just hours after the release Davido’s ‘How Long’ visual featuring American singer, Tinashe.

‘Jamb Question’ singer, Simi and South African singer, Nasty C are the other artistes featured on the EP.
‘I can’t say for now, but not this year,’ Davido told Thenetng when asked about the release date for his much-anticipated sophomore album.
Son of Mercy comes four years after Davido dropped his debut album Omo Baba Olowo, and his fans will have to wait till next year for his forthcoming album.
The pop star further revealed that, ‘It shouldn’t be more than 11 songs on the album,’ adding, ‘They’ll be about five major collaborations on it, and for now there’s no working title for the album.’
