Davido’s publicist Valerie Obaze has finally responded to our mails on the assault allegations levelled against the pop singer.
‘Thanks very much for your email. The incident is currently under further investigation so I am unable to comment’, Obaze wrote, in a brief reply to out lengthy E-mail, asking to confirm if there was an altercation.
She however promised to give proper ‘feedback within the next 24-48 hours’.
Davido had taken to micro-blogging site Twitter hours ago to and tweeted what seemed like a response to the on-going controversy. ‘Wow! Don’t believe everything u read people. SMH. #andthatisall’, he tweeted.
Over the weekend, it was reported that the pop star had allegedly assaulted a taxi driver, Femi Ajibola, who reportedly took the case to the Police.
