Music producer and reality TV star, David Gest‘s funeral will take place today April 29, at Golders Green crematorium in London.
Friends and family will be paying their respects at the London ceremony, with David’s ‘little sister’ Kym Marsh rumoured to be doing a reading.
A source told BANG Showbiz: ‘David would have wanted something uplifting, so all his friends will be there to celebrate the joy and fun he brought to their lives.’
The 62-year-old US entertainer was found dead in his London hotel room on April 12, 2016.
Following the service, it is believed David’s ashes will be buried in York, North England, because of his special love of the city. Just weeks before his sudden death, David Gest revealed that he wanted to be buried in York where he lived since 2013.
