Showkey moves away from his typical Ajegunle ragga style to a more contemporary tune. The Galala master made a return to the music scene in April 2014 with the single ‘Showkey Show’ and is following it up with this Chimbalin produced piece.
The videos for Asalambeez and Showkey Show are expected to be directed by Aje Films and will be released in the coming weeks.
The musician is also believed to be working on a single with MTN Project Fame winner and Capital Hill artist, Chidinma.
Daddy Showkey’s last album was produced seven years ago and was titled ‘Take five’.
