Real Madrid striker, Cristiano Ronaldo has been voted the greatest player to have played in the English Premier League at one time or the other.
A survey conducted by PA Sport has a return of results which see the Portuguese star polling 177 votes out of 1,000 respondents following the 7 memorable years he spent as a Manchester United player before moving to Real Madrid in 2009.
In topping the poll, Ronaldo, now a 3-time World Player of the Year winner, was voted ahead of several greats of the Premiership including Roy Keane, Patrick Vieira ad others.
Second on the list in the results is Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry with 133 points, Ryan Giggs with 95 points. Others are Alan Shearer (92 points), Eric Cantona (89 points), Steven Gerrard (77 points), Dennis Bergkamp 40 (points), Gianfranco Zola (24 points), Roy Keane 14 (points) while Patrick Viera got only 6 points.
