Real Madrid‘s elimination from the 2014/2015 UEFA Champions League season notwithstanding, Portugal striker, Cristiano Ronaldo still has something to hold on to.
His penalty goal in the game draws him level with late Madrid legend, Alfredo Di Stefano. The former Manchester United striker, who played an essential part in the second leg of the semi final clash between Real Madrid and Juventus on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, scored a goal in the 1 – 1 draw.
With 307 goals, Ronaldo now stands as the second highest goal scorer for Real Madrid and the Portuguese will surely be aiming to surpass another Real Madrid icon and captain, Raul Gonzalez who occupies the number one position with 323 goals at present.
