The LFP announced the ban today after referee Alejandro Hernandez who officiated and red carded the football star, tendered a brief and simple report which reads: ‘In minute 83 the player, Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off for the following reason: Kicking his rival off the ball.’
It was Ronaldo’s 9th red card since starting his professional career and he will miss two Real Madrid home games against Real Sociedad and Sevilla.
