A Federal High Court in Lagos will hear the N300m fundamental rights suit against the police by suspected kidnapper Evans on July 13.
Evans filed the suit through a lawyer, calling for his immediate court arraignment or release, last week.
The suit stated that he wants N300m as damages for violation of his rights.
Police have maintained they have a three-month warrant to detain the suspected kidnap kingpin pending the conclusion of investigations.
