Córdoba head coach, Miroslav Đukić remains unhappy with Cristiano Ronaldo for assaulting his players.
Despite Ronaldo’s 3-match ban and apology for kicking and slapping Edimar Fraga and Jose Angel Crespo during the La Liga game between Cordoba and Real Madrid on Saturday, January 24, 2015, the coach is still bitter and angry with the Real Madrid superstar.
Speaking during an interview on the matter, Miroslav Đukić said: ‘Ronaldo’s kick on Edimar was an act of desperation, which led to the gesture to his badge, which was ugly and arrogant. We closed him down well. He wasn’t feeling good, hence the desperation which led him [to do what he did].’
As a result of the infamous incident, the World Player of the Year will sit out 3 of his team’s chances, something he is very unfamiliar with.
