Committee for Relevant Art (CORA) and African Movie Awards (AMAA) are presenting a special event tagged ‘Arthouse Forum For Taiwo Ajai-Lycett At 70’. The organisers say the theme for the event is: ‘State Of The Stage: Conversation With, Around Taiwo Ajai-Lycett’.
The forum which will take place at Tribeca (on Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos) on Sunday, February 13 2011, will feature actresses Tina Mba and Kate Henshaw-Nutall in a conversation with the matriarch actress-teacher Ajai-Lycett.
Taiwo Ajai-Lycett who clocked 70 on February 3, is a renowned actress, broadcaster, teacher, social commentator and proprietor that has featured in Hollywood, British TV comedy and the Nigerian theatre. One of her major features is in ‘Some Mothers Do Have Them’, the popular British Sitcom that starred Michael Crawford as Frank Spencer.
