Edinson Cavani then equalised early in the second half.
With just four minutes of normal time remaining, Brazilian midfielder, Paulinho nodded home a Neymar corner to send the crowd into ecstasy, and leave Uruguay heartbroken.
Brazil will meet the winner of the Italy–Spain match in Sunday’s final at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
