Joan reportedly suffered a stroke earlier in the week and was hopitalised.
She eventually passed away on Thursday in Los Angeles, California, aged 95.

The statement added, ‘The family ask that you please give them time to grieve and respect their privacy during this difficult time.’

Marvel Comics paid tribute to the former hats model and writer who had a book published and is said to have three finished but unpublished works.
‘We are so saddened to hear about the loss of Joan Lee. We lost a member of the Marvel family and our thoughts and prayers go out to Stan and his daughter Joan in this difficult time,’ the Marvel Comics statement read.
