But two key church members, in a joint conversation with THENETNG today, vehemently denied the pastor had an affair with Kikelomo Akinkunmi.
Admitting the mother-of-one, who was previously married to Nigerian producer K-Solo has indeed been expelled, actor Paul Obazele and musician Kenny St. Best told our correspondent this evening that the rumours and reports are false.
Nollywood actor and the media officer of Revival Assembly, Paul Obazele insists that ‘nothing like that ever happened. Pastor Madubuko never knelt down or confessed to anything. The only thing the pastor complained of was the fact that he distanced himself from the congregation and he was sorry that he did that because he thought somebody was a real prayer person only for God to open his eyes that the person was a liar. It’s something the other pastors had known for a very long time but unfortunately because he was traveling a lot he didn’t know because he just came back’.
When asked whether Kikelomo was expelled from the church, he confirmed saying, ‘Yes, Kike has been expelled from the church because she was parading lies but the pastor never confessed to sleeping with her because it never happened’.
Obazele says he has worshiped at Revival Assembly for 25 years.
Another member of the church, Kenny Saint Best popularly called KSB also tells NET that Kikelomo was expelled from the church.
In her words, ‘nothing of such happened, of course we had an issue over the girl, the entire church had an issue with the girl and she has been expelled from the church’.
The lady at the centre and her ex-husband, speaking with NET in separate conversations, declined commenting.
