50-year-old comedian, Chris Rock has been announced as the host for the 2016 Oscar Awards, following his performance in 2005.
The upcoming 88th annual ceremony will hold at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles on Sunday, February 28, 2016.
Upon the announcement, Chris who filed for divorce from Malaak Compton-Rock after almost 20-years of marriage in January, posted a photograph of himself clutching an Oscar statue on, with the caption: ‘Look who is back. #Oscars’
