While some believe Nigeria’s new President, Muhammadu Buhari made a fashion faux-pas by wearing a pair of socks on his traditional attire for his inauguration ceremony, we decided to pay attention to his brown loafers.
Buhari walked the podium in a brown Italian Salvatore Ferragamo leather loafers and for what it’s worth, those shoes aren’t bad at all.
In line with his austere nature, the President decided to go for something modest. NET gathered the shoes cost just $189.00 – that’s approximately N36,855, and he sure looked casual but stylish.
His footwear has put the media in a tizzy, and he’s also showed us that there’s something interestingly modern about a new country’s president taking his vows in designer loafers.
Meanwhile, FLON’s wristwatch? Not even going there yet!
