To celebrate its 5th issue, Candy magazine, ‘a transversal style magazine has brought together inspiring and evident transgender women for a 62 page portfolio themed ‘The Role Models’.
The shoot, which was done by Mariano Vivanco features, celebrated trans genders that are writers, models, actresses and artistes. They include: Orange is the New Black actress, Laverne Cox who was also the first transgender woman to be on the cover of Time magazine earlier this year; Janet Mock, writer, activist, and contributor to Marie Claire; model, Carmen Carrera and Geena Rocero, a model and founder of Gender Proud, a transgender advocacy and aid organisation.
