Multiple sources have confirmed to NET, exclusively, that singer 9ice and his wife Toni Payne, who got married on Thursday July 17, 2008, are breaking up.
Very reliable sources revealed to us, this afternoon that the couple have agreed ‘to separate for a while’, following ‘irreconcilable differences’.
9ice and Toni are one of our few favourite showbiz couples – the whole industry celebrated their romance and eventual marriage- and it’s a heartbreaking news for the entertainment industry in Nigeria.

Now, i think i shd add mine. I got married same yaer as nice and have a son too just like them so i can imagine. many times we have had squabbles that seemed we just needed to call it quits but no way, i prayed even tho at a point my ego would not allow me. somehow we had to compromise. pride is the enemy we need to deal with b4 it deals with us. 9ice, am not really a fan of secular music but was proud when i haerd you wewre married. you have achieved much in your youth esp marriage. see that it works. see no matter what, stand by your wife. no one is perfect. she will respect you even more for that. dont allow anyone come btw you. pple look us to u, dont dash their hopes. dont make fame spoil the great future you have. remember there are perfect marriages,its imperfect pple that there are. forget fame, work on the wife of your youth. and you Toni, humble yourself, whatever happened, tell your husband you are sorry and move on with your marriage so your son does not suffer in his generation as a son from a disjointed home. pls. you can make it work. i could go on. start afresh you too, you can make it work pls. mine is working and i wont trade my man for anything.
