It’s official, the marriage of Nollywood actress Ini Edo to her husband Philip Ehiagwina, has ended.
The actress made a subtle announcement a few days ago when she removed the title of ‘Wife’ from her Instagram bio page, which fuelled the controversy of her marriage crash.
Since the news broke, the media has had a filled time feasting on the story with different angles to it, which the actress doesn’t seem to like.
And just some minutes ago today, October 2, 2014, she took to social media to officially announce the termination of her marriage, telling whoever cares to listen that she actually initiated divorce proceedings against her husband, Phillip Ehiagwina.

With the confirmation coming from her, Ini Edo officially joins other Nollywood actresses including Kate Henshaw, Funke Akindele, Juliet Ibrahim and others who have failed marriages in common.
