The Five Star Music camp is not in a friendly mood at the moment. The label has been at the centre of the Skiibii ‘Death Stunt‘ that flooded the Nigerian media on Friday, August 14, 2015.
The label’s lead act, Kcee who just returned to the country from a tour of Europe has just confirmed that Soso Soberekon, before now the General Manager of Five Star Music, has been fired for misleading the public on the Skiibii death story.
Soso was fingered as the one who confirmed via phone call to popular blogger, Linda Ikeji that Skiibii had indeed died. He also went on to put up a black candle post on his Instagram page, insinuating that the young music act was already confirmed dead.
According to Kcee, who was a guest on Cool FM earlier today: ‘I’m really very sad and annoyed and I blame my manager, Soso Soberekon for this mess. As we speak now, he has been fired.’
The ‘Limpopo’ singer also used the opportunity to apologise to Linda Ikeji and the general public for the error of fact.
