A man accused of shooting Lil Wayne‘s tour bus in April, Jimmy Winfrey claims Birdman should be held accountable.
The rapper and his entourage {Lil Twist and Hood}, were leaving Compound nightclub in Atlanta in April when their vehicle was attacked, with alleged bus shooter, Winfrey subsequently arrested.
In new court documents, Winfrey claims he shouldn’t be singled out for the crime.
According to TMZ, he stated: ‘[Birdman’s] financial dispute with [Lil Wayne] is what ultimately led to the shooting.’
‘[Birdman] should be held liable as a party to the crime.’
Birdman, who denies any involvement in the incident, and the ‘Lollipop’ hitmaker are currently in the midst of a $51 million legal battle.
