Big Brother Africa Stars Pokello Nare and Elikem Kumordzi are engaged! Elikem popped the question right on stage at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) which held on the night of May 3, 2014.
The reality TV star couple popularly refered to as ‘Polikem‘ were about presenting the award for ‘Best Collabo of the Year‘ at the awards show when the Ghanaian got on one knee and asked for his Zimbabwean girlfriend’s hand in marriage. Shocked, she managed to reply him with a ‘yes‘. Suffice to say guests went crazy, applauding and cheering the couple.
Elikem and Pokello met at the 2013 edition of reality show Big Brother Africa themed ‘The Chase‘. ‘Polikem’ hit if off while the show was on and continued their relationship after it ended.
Those who know me, will tell you I’m very shy. I never saw such a proposal coming and I went numb becoz of where we were.all eyes on me!
