Ghanaian dancehall act, Stonebwoy is likely to be Africa’s happiest music act at the moment. The young man is in Los Anegels right now and has just won the most important award of his career yet.
The 2015 VGMA artiste of the year has just been named winner of this year’s BET Awards in the category of Best International Act: Africa, beating the likes of Sarkodie, Yemi Alade, Davido, Fally Ipupa, Wizkid, The Soil and AKA.
This is Stonebwoy’s first time at the award as a nominee but he just beat a number of African heavyweights to the award.
