Chairman of Silverbird Group, Ben Murray-Bruce is set to declare his intention to run for the governorship of Bayelsa State.
The former Director General of Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) is said to have already picked up his ‘Expression of Interest and Nomination’ form over the weekend and any time from now should officially announce his intentions.
‘Yes, I heard he wants to take shot at the Bayelsa top seat’, an inside source who does not want to be named disclosed to Nigerian Entertainment Today.
Submissions of forms close today in preparations for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries scheduled for November 19, 2011.
The list of others who have already picked nomination forms are the present governor of the state Timipre Sylva, Henry Seriake Dickson, Boloubo Orufa and Christopher Enai among others.

I strongly agree with Uju comment, I read one of his interview sayin he’s never goin to show any movie in his Silverbird galleria unless the movie is premiered there.
I read from one of the producers that after he collects huge amount of money for using the silverbird, he furthers go ahead in sharing the money the movie gained on its premeire day 50/50. What a thief! He’s never goin to get any vote from my darling mum states.
Folarin and Uju shld be be mindful of your statement. lets get it right, are u speculating that he should set up an NGO T.V Station. he has made a bold step. there is absolutely no reason Bayelsian should be living in poverty with all the revnue it gets. do not forget that the state has been ruled since its creation by selfish individuals. there is no way in the world movies are premiered for free. he has set a standard. Bayelsian should embrace a change in the making. Ben am tourched by your decision, you only need to make more researches and facts to pound present government. am disappointed at a government commissioning fence of hospital as an achievement. hit and slam him had as to why a government would stop working and say until i will win next election with one year to end tenure of almost five years. it is sad that the government of the day only recognises Yengoa as Bayelsa state alone. you must run a comprehensive detailed campaign that will motivate the people to stand up for you.You need to visit BAYELSA YOUR HOME. let us see your next line of action. i am following

All them other candidates are all lying’ cocaine sniffing thieves who has had a chance to change the state,but did notting,mr Bruce you have our full support.
Bayelsa need changes and when you look around the eleven candidate and look at their speeches. There is no one’s speech like ben bruce’s. He said why are our people suffering upon the many blessing upon the state in terms of crude oil etc. Why are the people suffering. I think he has good reasons of transformation towards the state agenda.
Good luck Mr. Bruce, It is true Bayelsa needs a major change and that you can truly bring that change. You have to smart with your vision and outright with your thoughts, You already have the support of majority of the youths but you need to do more to counter any surprises.

Mr Ben Bruce, We know you as a people-oriented leader. Let us see ur manifesto and blueprint for the development of the oil-rich state. which has been impoverished state, cos of greed & lack of vision of our own people. Your antecedents speak volume and I personally believe in u. However, U must have d mind of God and be an altruist to breakthrough. Goodluck Your Excellency!!! God help Bayelsa state.
