Nigerian folk singer and leader of the Roots Renaissance Band, Segun Akinlolu popularly known as Beautiful Nubia is billed to take to the stage again next month.
For the July edition of his regular live conert at his EniObanke Arts Centre in Ikeja GRA billed for Sunday, July 26, 2015, the ‘Owuro lojo’ singer will welcome a special guest who will surely be fondly remembered by older Nigerians, Blackman Akeeb Kareem.
Blackman Akeeb Kareem, one of Nigeria’s talented musicians who was prominent over 20 years ago, is believed to have left the country in the ’80s. His last record, ‘Amebo’ was a popular hit, comfortably occupying a slot on the hit charts as far back as 1984.
The records of the two musicians and multi-instrumentalists will be on sale at the event.
