This last weekend was filled with so much drama in the house, from eviction jitters to massive prizes and couple goals. There was a little bit of everything.
In case you missed any part of this past weekend, we have a quick recap for you. Here are nine things that went down in the Big Brother Naija house in the 9th weekend.
Khafi won an Innoson Motors brand new car: The housemates had been given ribbons attached to a brand new Innoson Motors saloon car and whoever was the last to hold onto the ribbon would win the car. After a while in the game, some housemates decided to give the car to charity so they dropped the ribbons and left the game. However, Mercy, Khafi, Jackye and Cindy held on until Khafi was the last woman standing and ended up winning herself a new car.

Tacha’s own creation: Once again this weekend, when every other housemate received clothes for the weekend party, Tacha was excluded. She was instead given a sewing machine, materials and embellishments to make a dress for herself.
Mercy and Ike got into a fight: After the party, Mercy started a fight with Ike where she said she only loved money and did not care if she went home. She was convinced that Ike wanted her to lose the game so he could be one step closer to winning but she was drunk too. Ike left her shouting after he advised her to go to bed.
Tacha and Mercy got a strike each: Mercy who had been previously warned by Big Brother about her temper, got a strike yesterday for violence and provoking another housemate to violence. Tacha got her second strike for being rude to authority (Big Brother and Ebuka) minutes before the live eviction show.
Jackye and Gedoni got evicted: Gedoni became the 11th housemate to be evicted from the house while Jackye became the 12th housemate to be evicted.
Gedoni celebrated his eviction: As soon as he was evicted, Gedoni got on his knees and thanked God. He seemed to be genuinely glad that he had been evicted as Ebuka had put him in an uncomfortable position with Khafi and Venita some minutes before his eviction.
Ship sinking: While Ike and Mercy made up from their messy fight, The Khadoni ship finally sunk yesterday. With Gedoni evicted from the show, the Khadoni relationship came to an end, at least for now.
New Teams were created: The Cruisetopia and Iconics teams were dissolved after the eviction show last night and before the veto power task. New teams were created with new names. We now have Team Legends and Team Enigma with relatively new members.
Ike won the Veto Power game: Ike rounded up the 9th weekend by winning the veto power holder of this week and he won after an interesting round of games with Frodd. He will get to use his veto power tonight after the nomination task.
