The United States president, Barack Obama is on his second visit to the African continent since he became president.
According to BBC and Aljazeera news, Barak Obama arrived Senegal on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 being his first leg of a three-nation tour. On Thursday, he is expected to meet the Senegalese president Macky Sall.
He will move on to South Africa on Friday (today) for a weekend of talks and event, including a news conference with President Jacob Zuma in Pretoria.
The final leg of Obama’s journey will be in Tanzania where his programme includes talks and a news conference with President Jakaya Kikwete and a visit to the Ubongo power plant.
