Nigerian politicians are so predictable. They always pretend to be one of the masses to earn the public’s trust. So when they’re not eating corn, they’re climbing okada.

Or like former vice president Atiku Abubakar, drink pure water.

Remember he was trying to dab last week?
That was not all. As he finished acting like a chicken dabbing on stage, he was reported to have given a speech and according to The Guardian, said the following words: ‘There is no student in public universities that can speak English in an error-free manner like the head boy of my secondary school, who just finished addressing us now.’
That’s a damning verdict on the millions of Nigerian students who cannot afford the N3million that his American University of Nigeria charges per session.

Nigerian education is a mess so public universities are in this condition:
And yet, a former vice president blames the failure of Nigerian education on Nigerian students.
But we have a question: Alhaji Atiku was in office for eight years as vice to President Olusegun Obasanjo. Between 1999 and 2007 when the two of them were in office, how many times did university authorities go on strike? 7 times.

If that does not shock you, let us put it like this: under Atiku’s watch, Nigerian universities were on strike for EIGHTEEN MONTHS! How ironic it is, to now mock students of public universities while propping his own as the gold standard.
Don’t worry, when you come back to ask us for votes we will remind you.
