Captain of Ghana’s senior national football team, Asamoah Gyan, has revealed he has been going through hard times ever since he was accused of killing Ghanaian rapper, Castro for ritual sacrifice.
Castro, in company of a female friend, Janet Bandu, reportedly went missing after they were said to have joined Gyan’s family on a Jet ski holiday at Accra costal town of Ada in July this year.
In a recent interview with Ghana Soccernet, the former Sunderland player has spoken out about the depression that gripped him following allegations that he killed Castro and his female friend for the ritual purposes.
‘I’m feeling it and it is a difficult situation right now. He was my friend, you know. I don’t know if he is there or not and we are still waiting. It is very, very depressing for me and my family. But life goes on.’
Asamoah Gyan currently plays as a striker for Al Ain of the UAE Pro-League in Dubai
