The ‘Terminator’ actor was on a tour of the safari in South Africa when the enormous gray animal sized the exploring team up in their SUV.

True to the actor’s prediction and to the team’s terror, the large elephant proceeded to chase them down, forcing the driver of their vehicle to step on the accelerator to enable their getaway.
‘I couldn’t have written this safari encounter better if it was a movie,’ Schwarzenegger wrote in the caption of his video. ‘I’m absolutely in awe of these beautiful, strong animals, even though some of us had to change our pants after this.’
Thankfully no one was hurt and the actor went on to encourage the preservation of the endangered species.
‘We need to stop killing them—take a photo, not a shot,’ he said.
