The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby has been cleared of Ebola after visiting Sierra Leone last week, where he went to deliver sermon to children affected by Ebola virus.
According to reports, Welby was recently forced to cancel his Christmas sermon after a brief illness on his return to England from Sierra Leone but was confirmed to only be suffering from ‘heavy cold’ and not the Ebola Virus.
‘He has been fully checked out. He was suffering for a head cold before going to Sierra Leone. He’s been trying to shake it off for a couple of weeks.’
Sierra Leone has so far reported more than 9,000 cases of the highly contagious disease which is reported to have claimed the lives of almost 2,600 people in the West African country.
