Get ready guys. The Arise Magazine Fashion team is set to host the city of Lagos to a thrilling fashion week at The Tents, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria. This will span four consecutive days between March 10 and March 13, 2011.
The event which is expected to be ‘africa’s biggest fashion fiesta ever’, will feature renowned designers and stylists from 16 different countries across the globe. These include Nigeria, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Tanzania, Liberia, Morocco, Senegal, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Somalia, Mali, UK, US, Belgium and France.
Some of the designers expected to showcase their designs and rub minds with their colleagues include: House of Nwocha, Bridget Awosika, Tiffany Amber, Vonne, Alexander Amosu, Lanre Da Silva Ajayi, KiKi Kamanu (US), Christie Brown (Ghana), Bestow Elan (Ethiopia), Xuly Bet (Mali/France) and Lola Fatouroti (US).
And there’s loads of music in the mix too; which scheduled performance by homeboys Naeto C, Darey and D’banj; as well as their foreign counterparts Keri Hilson, Estelle and Tinie Tempah.
Hilson has previously performed at the 2009 Calabar festival, while Estelle and Nigerian-born British rapper Tinie Tempah are expected to make their Nigerian debut.
The fashion festival will run for four consecutive days next week (March 10, 11, 12 and 13). The week will be rounded up with a Fashion Awards Ceremony on the last day Sunday, March 13, 2011.

Hmm..this show is da bomb! Watch out for Ibom Fashion Colelctive coming up in May down south in the city of Uyo, Akwa Ibom state.
