Ankara Festival to hold in Hollywood

Organisers of the Ankara Festival event have announced that the next edition will hold on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Avalon Hollywood, Hollywood, US.

We’re told the festival was designed as a platform for upcoming and professional designers who specialise in the use of African fabrics to create contemporary designs. The festival, they say will also serve as a bridge between Africans living in America.

Designers billed to showcase include Oyato designs, Chidex designs, Tribal Mask, MABM designs, Glamm Fashion, Dai Z Coutoure and many more. The event will be anchored by actress, Shondrella Avery with musical performances from Naira, Big Klef, Seyi Alesh and few other artistes.
